At midlife, I came to the realization that I was unfulfilled in my career and life in general. I decided to do something about it and I went back to school to complete a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, graduating with distinction. I have since completed a number of certifications in evidence-based methods including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Emotion Freedom Technique, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), SMART Recovery, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy - Level 1.
I became a registered psychotherapist (qualifying) because I'm passionate about helping people improve their mental health and live their best lives.
